The Spartans traveled to Heritage High school December 9th and took down the Huskies 44-32. Individual winners were: #9 Ben DeRose(106), Alex Rosiak(113), Caide Smith(120), Nick Mayrand-Roach(126), Mark Bowens(145), Damarius Jones(152), Kameron Blythe(182) and Brenden Mullally(195). Sanderson is now 2-0 in the Cap 8 Conference looking to win the 6th consecutive conference regular season crown. The team travels to Wakefield High for the Wolverine Challenge competing with some of the states best teams and wrestlers.
Sanderson traveled to Orange High school December 4th and 5th for the Jim King Invitational. Individual placers for the team were:

Adrian Davenport(138) 6th
Marquise Bowens(145) 5th
Damarius Jones(152) 6th
Brenden Mullally(220) 2nd
Sanderson placed 8th overall being the highest placing Cap 8 team at the tournament. Sanderson will travel to Heritage High for its second Cap 8 Conference match of the season.
Sanderson wrestled Wakefield High on December 2nd and downed the Wolverines 48-30. The young Spartan line up won 9 of the 14 matches against their opponent with 6 pins. Individual winners were: Caide Smith (120), Aaron Geter (132), Adrian Davenport (138), Marquise Bowens (145), Damarius Jones (152), Jimmy Gborrie (160), Kameron Blythe (182), Nathan Solkowitz (195) and Brenden Mullally (220). The Spartans with again travel to Orange High for the Jim King Invitational.
The Spartans traveled to Orange High school for the Orange Duals where the team went 3-2. Sanderson fell to 3a top team, Orange High, 7-66 as well as falling in a close match to South Stokes, 36-41. The Spartans defeated East Chapel Hill, 63-12, East Davidson, 36-27 and North Davidson, 49-27. Sanderson is now 3-3 on the year with many matches left to go.
The Spartans had the first home match of the year when they took on the Holly Springs Hawks. Sanderson fell to the Hawks 24-51. Individual winners for the Spartans were: Kamerson Blythe (182), Nathan Solkowitz (195), Brenden Mullally (220), and #9 Ben DeRose. Sanderson will travel to Orange High for the Orange Duals November 21st.
